Katey Project

Linear rhyolite flow dome setting hosting alteration and shallow high-grade gold

Project Snapshot

Katey Overview

100%-owned, royalty-free, 1,204 hectares 144 unpatented claims on BLM land
Located 50 km NW of Integra Resources’ DeLamar deposit
Limited shallow 1988-1990 drilling encountered significant mineralization in multiple zones including:
  • K-88-2 – 2.7 m @ 6.2 g/t Au
  • K-88-19 – 59.2 m @ 0.6 g/t Au
  • K-88-12 – 3.0 m @ 6.4 g/t Au
Initial Headwater drill program at Katey(*) consisted of two scout diamond core drill holes totaling 537 metres
A mixed diamond core and reverse circulation drill program consisting of approximately 3,500 metres is scheduled to commence in early summer 2023

High-grade gold encountered in first drill hole KT21-01 which intersected 14.54 m at 6.34 g/t gold including 30.73 g/t gold over 1.95 m
The KT21-01 intercept lies directly below a zone of low-grade near surface gold intersected in historic drilling and is interpreted as representing a high-grade feeder structure to the system
The mineralized structure encountered in KT21-01 is open along strike and at depth
Best grades associated with intense hydrothermal brecciation, containing fragments of quartz vein material and cross cutting steeply dipping quartz-carbonate veins

Looking northeast at diamond core rig drilling KT21-01 beneath strongly silicified sandstone in the Katey West Zone. The hole was drilled at a -45 degree inclination and encountered high-grade mineralization in a feeder zone directly beneath the resistant outcrop.
